One or two? that was the question lingering in my mind after listening to this album for a while. Or should I say after enduring this album, as it is more a tool for torture than a pleasurable musical work. I think that their debut EP Affliction was a bit drab but at least is was not terrible, it was typical of the kind of music they play but still at least it could work. This album however, is none of those, it is just noise. A Racket that keeps going for 37 minutes or until you turn it off because you cannot stand it anymore with the latter happening first most of the time I tried playing the album.

If I were to put this in a label I’d guess deathcore or something similar is the closest, I read that on youtube at least. Some guy said it was the best song ever written, the title track which just goes to show that some people have no brain (or taste). It is a massive noise with a singer who does not understand the concept of words, he just makes grunts. The drums are just racketing about their thing with no regard to baselines and the guitars are a fast paced noise which probably have resulted in a few snapped string due to the abuse. The vocals are however the really bad thing, I just can’t understand why someone would believe that vocals like that is any good, it isn’t. I’d rather drill holes in concrete walls without ear protection for a week in a row rather than listening to this crap one more time.

That of course leads me to conclude that I am probably not the band’s targeted audience and neither are you (meaning most of our readers) as this can only appeal to a very small select group of people who probably does not understand too many artistic concepts. And if you think I am mean to the band and all of that and that I should not review anything I don’t like and all that crap that some people suggest, that is your opinion but the label sent this album for me to review and it would not be right just to skip it because I found that I didn’t like it, would it?

Anyway, I don’t think this is a good album and I am sure most people in the world will agree with that, in fact it probably will belong in the hall of shame for 2013 when it is to be summarised in a while. I think you will have to look long and hard to find anything worse than this to be completely honest, it doesn’t even bore you to sleep so what’s the use? The artwork is too ugly to use it as a coaster as well, lets just burn it and say we dumped it in the sewers.
