Catch 33 is the best swedish metal album ever, so my expectations were high when I put Obzene in the stereo. When a band realeses an intricate album like Catch 33, the follow-up usually is straight-forward live-oriented material so I should have known - this is exactly the case with Obzene. It´s bascially ordinary thrash metal that wants to sound modern. I like the Tool-influences but in the long run it get´s really fucking boring. Compared to old Anthrax and Metallica also sterile, cold and without any kind of feeling.
