Arch Enemy in Västerås was the first interview we ever made live, it was all the way back in 2003, seems like an eternity and more ago and a lot has really happened since then. I believe it was the first time for a lot with this interview, it was just after we decided to make our first sequel, it was the first time we went away for a show and to interview a band and well, the first time we saw Arch Enemy live, the pictures in the article is proof that we have done it more than this time.
It was a great adventure to go away, stay at a hotel and everything, especially since we were going in the rubbish car that I had at the time. As I said lots has happened since then. Nonetheless it was fun listening through hardrock and metal in the car on the way down, then seeing this show in that tiny little rock club somewhere in Västerås.
As an article the way it is written reflects much of how we wrote our articles at that time, more of a transcribation of our questions than an article but it worked at the time. It also shows how much irrelevant informtion we filled our interviews with, the talk about cameras and photos and it is the same with phone interviews when the weather and everything is described. Sure we do some of that sometimes today but in a much smaller scale.
For the look, the interview is reworked with a new layout, mine for the english which is rubbish compared to what my brother can do but nonetheless it will have to do. It also has new images taking with better gear than the ones we had for the original article which were really rubbish to be honest.
So, more than seven years following, this article has gotten a small facelift and also been reworked for you who do not speak Swedish. I hope you enjoy despite the fact that most things are quite yestedays news.
