German quartet Into This has according to themselves created a monster, and as far as I know it is their debut album. The press text was in German and I didn’t feel like reading through it, I know German but reading it takes time so instead I decided to listen to it many times instead. And thanks to listening to it many times I have been able to form the opinion that I am delivering to you today.

The music is straight to the point, punk or alternative rock music with energy and feeling. It is simple and easy to take to with strong production and okay variation over ten tracks and 35 minutes. Sure you can criticise them for not being innovative and ground-breaking and that would be a valid point as they aren’t but they are fresh enough not to feel boring from the first go. There is not much other to say about the style of the album, the songs are catchy and simple and thanks to a short playing time the album will keep you listening for the entirety of it.

And I like listening to it, it is a great album and it presses all the right buttons for the music lovers. Sure there are one or two tracks that might feel a bit like fillers but there are also some brilliance so the fillers pass by without me really noticing. And I keep finding myself singing along with the best tracks like my favourites Hand Grenade and the ending track Rising Giant, tracks that I think should be rated amongst the best I have heard this year. The album as a whole is really enjoyable and while it isn’t breaking new ground it still entertains a lot and I just want to hear it over again.

This is clearly an album that comes recommended; I think you should check it out. One has to be rather boring not to like it, the video and song sample below this text is simple proof of how correct I am in this matter. Sure it may not be an absolute monster but it certainly has many monster tendencies – I suggest you have a look at it as it is great.
