nuclear blast

The old rockers of Accept are releasing a live video on blu-ray/DVD and CD a show for their audiences to enjoy. And they call it Restless and Live, a nod back to a studio album from a time when I hardly existed. Meaning that these guys have had a pretty long career, spanning several decades with a debut album released 1979, soon 40 years ago. Two guys were in the band at that time while the rest of the band joined after the band was reformed in 2009.

And they have done some timeless stuff in those years, many of those pieces we hear on this live release. Their simple and catchy, somewhat raw-edged hardrock/metal is excellent for the live stage with simple structures and easy to sing –along they charm audiences easily and do so with the crowd for this release as well. But it is not only that the songs are good live, they perform them brilliantly on this release and the sound production is really strong making this sound very good, so good that you want to listen to it.

The video production is not as good as the audio, it is well filmed and cut but they could use some more interesting angles and cutting but in the end it works and you can look at it and enjoy the music. I like this release; it has much to offer in its overall quality and great music. Surely a great showcase of a great career for a great and influential band, I would say that it comes highly recommended.

I enjoyed listening to and watching this great live release, and Accept really delivers a strong piece. Great stuff, and I can clearly say that this album is well worth the money and that you really ought to get it. I don’t think I need to write more than that as I have already written everything you need to know.
