That is a very tall ninja, was my first thought when I took on this new album by the very tall Australian warrior. It is the second album by this tall one and it is rather invincible, at least when I get to (and because of) the third track. The cover looks less than exciting but it is the stuff that we hear within the cover that is the thing, and I think that beneath those dull drapes there is someone sharpening some swords.

Well, I have seen many ways to describe these guys and it is rap rock quartet, djent  nu-metal or things like that. I don’t really know but they thread down many paths where all those things are valid, there are some djenty sounds, some nu-metal parts, some more pop-rock stuff and several other ways paths are walked down. I think Korn is a decent comparison without resorting to saying that it sounds exactly like that but similar in many regards.

The production is sharp as a samurai’s sword and the ninja kicks some ass with the ten tracks we are getting. Tracks that are varied and with varied as well as great vocals it is easy to really like this album. Sure there are one or two minor drawbacks but the album as a whole can almost be described as invincible, just like a twelve feet tall ninja would be. I would describe the result as a ninja performing the work with very well sharpened blades - the album is that sharp.

More than that isn’t really needed to be written, I recommend that you look closer at it and perhaps you too will find that the best track Invincible grabs you first and draws you into this great album. And with that: あなたは12フィートの忍者に感謝 – that is pretty self-explanatory.
