These inner wishers are from Greece and this is their new, self-titled, album. It has a rather attractive cover artwork and the band has had some good help from well-known names in the business creating it. When reading up on this album one can be forgiven for believing it is a strong album but as I have learnt during my time as a reviewer that you cannot really trust anything but your own ears when it comes to an album. So what about this one?

Musically it is melodic metal, or power metal if you like. Often with a decent tempo but also with a rather strong variation in tempo and style, there is also a decent depth that should aid the album’s longevity. It is a fairly long album playing well over the hour but when listening you don’t really notice that and I was actually surprised by learning that the album was so long. There are thirteen tracks on the album, just for reference, and these shows a good sound – I think that we can conclude that this is a very strong production.

But it is not only a strong production, the songs are also very strong and enjoyable – the fact is that it is a very enjoyable album to listen to, and it has no apparent weaknesses in my opinion. The singer is also very good, he reminds me of R.D. Lipakis of Mystic Prophecy if you want a reference. One weakness one could point out is that it isn’t exactly ground breaking but at least they are doing what they do really well, something that at least gives them a chance to float rather than just sink in the mainstream. I really like this album, the songs are really good and one can conclude that it is not only a strong production but also a great album.

All the songs are good; I don’t think that there is any weak song on the album. But the really good thing is that the album has some really strong focal points that make me really take notice, to me the best example of this is the tenth track. It is an album well worth checking out, especially if you are a fan of power metal or melodic metal since I think genre fans will find this album really appealing. I have enjoyed listening to this album when working on it, and while I cannot be sure that you will enjoy it as well, I can at least state that the probability is quite high that you will. An enjoyable album, well worth checking out is a good way to end this review.
