A one man project and a black metal one, that does not bode well to anyone who does not find the primitive black metal albums that flood the world interesting. But there is an atmospheric added to black metal in the press text making it at least something more interesting than your regular black metal rubbish. The title means Create if you translate the meaning from the greek language and the cover art looks darkish and quite interesting. So I would say that from the look of it there are both positives and negatives and it is the same kind of story when looking at the music.

The music is epic black metal of the more atmospheric kind, it begins quite straightforward to become more atmospheric and melodic towards the end. The voice is mainly the crowlike black metal gurgling that is quite common in the black metal genre but there is quite a bit of variation to this and the same goes for the music which is much more varied than is usually the thing in the genre but it progresses in a natural way towards its softer ending which may be something that might scare the purists somewhat away but it is still very heavy while still retaining a very melodic sense. I would say the production of this album is very good and I think the sound is very well presented and the variation over the story being told in seventeen chapters over one hour seems very well thought out and performed by this one guy.

One funny thing about this album is that all the song titles are in one word which is quite uncommon, especially considering that it is an epic album. But it is not only that, it is a good album, the songs are quite good and I would say that this album hasn’t any real moot points. However, neither does it have any of the really high points in my opinion, it is a good album but it does not quite make me stop in my stride and really take notice. At the same time I am probably not really one of the targeted audience for the album either and if you are one of those fans of atmospheric black metal you will most likely enjoy this album very much. But due to its melodic nature it will not only appeal to the fans of black metal but to many other as well thanks to the very melodic and atmospheric songs that can be found especially on the second half of this one hour album. This hour is also really bearable thanks to the variation of the album which as I said is a good one.

So, a black metal album well worth taking a closer look at and not only for the ones into the genre but for anyone who likes their music a bit deeper than anything. Maybe it does not quite reach the highest of musical levels but still an interesting album well worth taking a closer look at.
